Blackberry and almond crumble. Sweet, crunchy and packed with blackberries and almonds. The perfect dessert when blackberries are in high season, and you are struggling to keep up with the incredible amounts of black gems, picked in the garden.
Vary the crumble with raspberries or apples. Both goes very well with blackberries.
You can replace some the almonds with oatmeal but the almonds gives a nice crunch, and since almonds don’t contain gluten, you can serve the dish to people with gluten allergy.
Serve the blackberry and almond crumble with whipped cream, creme fraiche 18% or sour cream. Whatever, you prefer, or is available.
